Create a launch page
Ensure a seamless transition between the pre-launch and launch stages of your campaign by creating a launch page.
Every campaign has three page variants—pre-launch, launch, and post-launch (reservation campaigns have a fourth: a reservation page). Each variant is a different face your campaign shows at a different point in its life. The launch variant is what visitors see once you've actually gone live, and its job is usually different from your pre-launch page. Rather than capturing leads ahead of time, your launch page typically redirects visitors to wherever your launch is actually happening—your crowdfunding campaign or your storefront.
Because it points people at an external destination, a launch page is usually simpler to build than your pre-launch page. Most of the same page builder tools apply, but with less emphasis on lead capture and engagement features, and more emphasis on getting the redirect right.
Steps
Open the page builder from your campaign summary and use the Variant Selector at the top to switch to the Launch variant. A green light next to a variant means it's published and currently live.
When you switch to the Launch variant, you will have the option of copying your pre-launch template, selecting another template, or creating a new page. Select Continue.
Set your Global Styles (fonts, colors, button styles) if they aren't already inherited from your pre-launch variant. Consistent branding across variants keeps the transition seamless for returning visitors.
Build your Page Layout. Keep launch pages lean. A clear headline, a summary of what's launching, and a prominent call-to-action are usually enough. Avoid recreating your full pre-launch page here.
Configure your primary call-to-action as a Redirect Link, pointing to your crowdfunding page, storefront, or wherever the launch is taking place. This is the core function of a launch page, so confirm the destination URL is correct and live before publishing.
Review desktop, tablet, and mobile views. Edits made on desktop cascade down until you edit tablet or mobile directly, at which point that view stops inheriting changes from above it. Preview all three before publishing.
Click Save Draft, then use Preview Draft to confirm the page behaves as expected, especially that your redirect sends visitors to the right place.
Check the builder's Checklist to confirm the page is complete.
Next, schedule the transition in advance. Go to Schedule Settings to set up an automatic transition from the pre-launch to launch stage of your campaign. Toggle on the launch page and enter the date, time, and timezone for when your page should automatically transition from pre-launch to launch.
If you prefer, you can also manage this manually by clicking Publish when you are ready to move from pre-launch to launch.
If you want the page discoverable through search engines, turn on Search Visibility first. Otherwise it stays reachable only through links you share directly.
A launch page has one job—get visitors from Launch Oracle to wherever your launch is actually happening, with as little friction as possible. Getting the redirect right, keeping the page lean, and timing the transition well are what make that handoff work.
