Advanced reporting

Learn how to access and read advanced reporting to connect your Meta and Google ad performance directly to your Launch Oracle leads.

If you're running Meta or Google ads as part of your campaign, Advanced Reporting connects your ad account data directly to your Launch Oracle leads. This lets you see not just how your ads are performing, but where those leads are coming from and what they're actually costing you per lead.

Before you begin

Advanced Reporting requires Meta and Google Ads to be connected to your property. If you haven't connected them yet, see Connecting third-party applications.

Steps

  1. Open Advanced Reporting. Click the report icon from your campaign overview, then click Advanced Reporting in the top right-hand corner.

  2. Set up your view. At the top of the page, choose your Data source (Meta Ads Insights or Google Ads), then narrow things down with Filter by ad set and Filter by date. Click Filter Results to apply.

Info

Data refreshes every three hours. You can see the exact last sync time in the top right.

  1. Review your key metrics. Four metrics give you a snapshot of how your ads are performing for the selected time period:

    • Spend: Total ad dollars spent.

    • Click Through Rate: The percentage of people who saw your ad and clicked it (link clicks ÷ impressions).

    • Leads: How many leads your ads generated, with the raw Meta- or Google-reported lead count shown alongside for comparison.

    • Cost Per Lead: Your spend divided by leads, plus your conversion rate.

Note

Leads (Launch Oracle) vs. Meta Leads. These numbers can differ. "Leads" reflects leads attributed through Launch Oracle's tracking, while "Meta Leads" is what Meta itself reports. Meta uses a 7-day click attribution window by default—it credits an ad with a lead if someone clicks it and converts at any point in the following week, even if they didn't return through that specific ad or something else ultimately drove the conversion. This tends to produce a higher lead count in Meta's reporting. Launch Oracle instead tracks leads through unique ref links, crediting a lead only when someone converts through that specific tracked link. This gives you a more direct view of what your ads are actually driving, which is why "Leads" often comes in lower than "Meta Leads" on your dashboard.

  1. Check performance over time. This chart plots Cost Per Lead against Click Through Rate (CTR) across your date range, so you can spot trends.

  2. Review the ad set breakdown. Scroll down to see performance broken out by individual ad set, with the same core metrics (spend, leads, impressions, link clicks, CTR, CPC) plus Site CPL—cost per lead based specifically on landing page conversions. This is where you can compare which audiences, creatives, or campaigns are actually working, rather than looking at your account in the aggregate.

  3. Check Unmapped Items. At the bottom of the report, keep an eye on Unmapped Items. This flags any ref codes or ads that Launch Oracle couldn't automatically match to an ad set.

Use these metrics to guide smarter marketing decisions. See which audiences, creatives, and channels are actually driving cost-effective leads, and adjust your ad spend accordingly.
