Mailchimp
Connect Mailchimp to Launch Oracle.
Connecting Mailchimp to Launch Oracle sends rich, tagged audience data from your campaign pages straight into your Mailchimp audience lists. From there, you can use Mailchimp's own CRM tools to stay in touch with your audience and keep them updated as your campaign progresses.
Once connected, every lead captured through Launch Oracle flows into Mailchimp automatically, tagged by the campaign it came from—no manual list-building required.
Before you begin
Make sure you have the following:
An active Mailchimp account with admin access, so you can generate an API key.
The property you want to connect. Mailchimp connects at the property level, so any campaign in that property will be able to sync to it.
If you haven't set up a property yet, take a look at how to Create a property.
Connecting a property
To connect a property to your Mailchimp, navigate to the "Applications" tab in the Launch Oracle sidebar and select Mailchimp from the list. If you can't find Mailchimp immediately, try selecting the "CRM" tab or searching for it directly in the search bar.
From here you can see information about any already connected properties. To connect a new property, click the " + Connect Property" button and select the properties you want to connect to your Mailchimp CRM.
Once a property is connected don't forget to configure the desired campaigns to complete the setup.
Finding your API key
Before you connect any campaigns, you will need an API key. This ensures Launch Oracle knows which Mailchimp account to send its data too. An API key is a unique code that identifies your Mailchimp account and can be found from within your Mailchimp account.
Log into your Mailchimp Account and navigate to the API Settings.
(Account > Settings* > Extras > API Keys)Click Create A Key
Give your API key a name so that you can easily identify what its being used for later.
Click Generate Key.
Copy the generated key and paste it into the
Once you've filled in your API key, click Connect to finalize the connection.
Configuring a campaign
Once you've connected your property, you will need to configure how Mailchimp treats audience members coming in from specific campaigns.
Navigate to the CRM Sync settings from the page builder or Mailchimp' s Launch Oracle Applications settings. ( Applications > Mailchimp > [Property Dropdown] > [Campaign Button] )

Setting up basic flows
Email flows allow you to communicate information to your audience based on certain criteria. To start setting up a new flow:
Navigate to Automation > Flow Automation Templates from Mailchimp's side menu.
Select one of the available Flow Templates you feel best describes your goal. This will handle most of the setup for you and provide a good staring point.
Once you've selected a template you will be taken to Mailchimp's Flow Editor where you can begin customizing your flow.
Find the entry node, the one with a play button symbol, and click Filter who enters this flow just below it.
Search for and add a tag filter.
Select the "has any of" criteria.
Search for and select the tag used when configuring you campaign.
Can't Find The Tag?
If you cant find the tag you used among the suggested tags, try the following before creating one yourself:
Make sure it's written correctly. It should use the same capitalization as the one you assigned in Launch Oracle.
Check your audience. Make sure you have the correct audience selected. It should be the same one that you assigned when you setup Mailchimp.
Sync your campaign. If you haven't already setup Sync to CRM for at least one campaign in your property.
Have at least one lead captured. You can confirm this by looking for any Launch Oracle leads in the assigned audience list.
Once you've setup the entry filter, only the audience members that fit the filter's criteria will be added to this flow. The last step is to select and design the email template that will be sent to your audience members. For more information on that see Mailchimp's Documentation
Welcoming your audience
Welcome flows are used to acknowledge the submission of a lead and convey any additional information that individual might need. When creating a welcome flow, we recommend using the "Welcome new Contact" template, as it provides a good starting point and most of the flow is already be setup for you. Once you've completed the rest of the setup, you should have a basic welcome flow.
You will need to decide what to include in the email's content. This will depend on your brand identity and what you are collecting leads for as each audience can be different.
